In my senior Typography II class, our biggest project was designing a typographic book. Using text from Gui Bonsiepe's "Virtues of Design", Michael Bierut's "The World In Two Footnotes", and excerpts from The Great Discontent's interview with Paula Scher, I compiled a book of wisdom and advice aimed at young designers beginning their careers. Being in a state of transition from student to professional is intimidating and overwhelming, which is why I felt that my chosen texts would be beneficial for people in the same position. After a month of designing and editing the book, I printed and bound it by hand for my finished product.
